The Freedom Project is the name of our 2020 Capital Campaign Fundraiser. Hurt Pentecostal Holiness Church as of January 2020 had three real properties with a total debt of $ 420,767.
Individually: Freedom Worship Center $ 359,545
Rental House $ 43,082
Store Property $ 18,140
“The Freedom Project” goal is to eliminate the debt of the store property on or before November 11th, 2020 (Veteran’s Day). We will have a note burning ceremony, flag raising, dedication, and celebration on Sunday, November 8th during the 11AM worship service.
The strategy is to seek donations both within and outside of the local church to pay off the “Store Property” debt. “The Freedom Project” will include placing three flag poles (one 35’ and two 30’) in front of the Freedom Worship Center (if possible in the larger shrub bed) in honor and memory of those who have served in our nation’s military. Flood lights will be added and concrete pedestals and walkway. Furthermore, a professionally framed photo of the three flags (American, Christian, Virginia) flying with names of donors (above $100) will be placed in the foyer of the Freedom Worship Center. The cost of “The Freedom Project” is estimated at $3,000. Installation completed by the men of the church under the direction of the administrative church council. This will be a lasting memorial and will enhance the beauty of the church campus as well as providing a central place for prayer and devotion. The flags will be maintained by the Little Blessings Learning Center (Daycare) during the week and the ushers or parking attendants on Sundays. By eliminating this debt the church will be relieved of a monthly payment of $ 988.58. This will significantly help increase the church’s monthly cash flow and provide a tangible place commemorating this debt reduction. Thank you for partnering with us and for your pledge of any amount!
